This website is my record of exploration into Responsive Website Design, Functional Programming, Scala and other Capitalized Words.
English has been chosen in general because of it being the lingua franca of the IT world and the basis of the software developers' argot. The American English dialect has been chosen specifically for its more concise spelling, (e.g., 'program' over 'programme', 'labor' over 'labour'). However, the longer form of words will be used when the shorter version is an obvious abomination against humanity and all right-thinking peoples: 'gauge' will always be used over 'gage', etc.
Adages, saws, and idioms will use the American version (e.g., 'pull up stakes' vs. 'up sticks') even if more wordy. The only exception is when referencing currency. 'Penny wise and pound foolish' is, and always will be, preferable to 'penny wise and dollar foolish'.
All these rules will be inconsistently applied depending only upon the whim of the author.
